Esther Mae Muncy, 71, of Roderfield, WV, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at her residence with her family by her side. Born June 6, 1948 in Welch, WV, she was the daughter of the late James Flippen and Bonnie Landereth Flippen.

Esther was affiliated with the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and enjoyed spending time with them.

Other than her parents, Esther was preceded in death by her husband, George A Muncy. One son, Jody Muncy. One brother, Ruben Flippen. One granddaughter, Brianna Hunley and one great-granddaughter, Natalie Patterson.

Leaving to cherish her memories are: two sons, Eric Muncy and wife Donna, Gene Muncy and wife Tanya all of Roderfield. One daughter, Tammy Hunley and husband Bill of Jenkinjones, WV.  Also, two grandchildren who she helped raise, Chris and Cody Muncy.One brother, Roger Flippen and wife Frances. Other grandchildren: Brandon Muncy, Mathew Muncy, Jenna Patterson, Josh Hunley, Savannah Hunley, Hunter Muncy, and Chase Muncy. Great-grandchildren: Owen and Ayden Muncy, Zoey Patterson, Alex Hunley and D.J., Kaylee and Kelsey.

Services will be held Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Roderfield Pentecostal Holiness Church

in Roderfield, WV at 11: AM with Rev. Tommy Stone and Rev. Brian Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, WV. The family will accept visitors Friday, October 4, 2019 from 6 until 8: PM at the church. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
