Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Celebrates New Renovation at McDonald’s

A special cake was shared with special guests at Monday’s ribbon cutting ceremony.

WELCH, WV – A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at McDonald’s in Welch on Monday, October 14th, 2019 to celebrate the new renovations of the store.

Owners Scott and Annette Allison were joined by the local VFW Post 1144 and City of Welch Mayor Harold McBride, who had the honor of cutting the ribbon.

The newly renovated store is now home to digital touchscreen menus and has been updated inside and out.

The VFW also installed a new United States flag now proudly flying over the site.

“We sure are happy they are willing to invest in Welch because they have always been a good partner to our town,” said Mayor McBride.

Jim Sizemore braved the chilly morning temperatures to install a new flag over the newly renovated business.
