Lee Ivan Mullins, 85, of Ironton, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley. The West Virginia native was born January 5, 1934 a son to the late Walter and Florence (Bishop) Mullins. Mr. Mullins is survived by his wife of 35 years, Violet (Mooney) Mullins.
Mr. Mullins was a U.S. Army and Marine veteran serving in the Korean War and a graduate of Welch High School in West Virginia. Lee went on to work as truck driver for JB Hunt. He was a member of American Legion Post 243 and VFW Post 4329 in Galion, Ohio. Mr. Mullins was a licensed Amature Radio Operator and enjoyed playing music on his guitar. Lee also remodeled homes, and was as an electrician and welder.

three sons: William Mullins Sr. of Coal Grove, Ohio, Mark (Jesse) Mullins of Catlettsburg Kentucky, and Lee (Wastee) Mullins Jr. of Belton, Texas
a daughter: Janet (Chris) Anthony of Edison, Ohio
six brothers: Kenneth Mullins, Walter Mullins Jr., Orville Mullins, Elvis Mullins, David Mullins, and John Mullins
five sisters: Phyllis, Cathy, Sue, Diana, and Geneva
nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren
In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by:
six brothers: Cody Mullins, Clarence Mullins, Amos Mullins, Oley Mullins, Carl Mullins, and Marvin Mullins
There will be a Memorial Service at Hemphill Helping Hands Holiness Church from 2-4 p.m. (10-12-19) on Saturday.
