Betty Lou Stepp, 79, of War passed away Saturday, January 3, 2020 in Bluefield Regional Hospital in Bluefield.
Born April 12, 1940 in McCarr, KY, she was the daughter of the late Milton Williams and Texie Hicks Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband Dennis Stepp, a daughter Susie McCoy and three siblings.
Those left to cherish her memory are a son, Avery Steve Scott of Urbana, OH; two daughters, Kay Cyphers and husband Dan of War, and Brenda Isom and husband Bucky of McCarr, KY; a sister, Shirley Hilbert of Williamson, WV; 9 grandchildren including a special granddaughter, Tina Keen and husband Glen with whom she made her home; and several great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 7, at 12 Noon in the East War Advent Christian Church in War Cove with Pastor Dan Cyphers officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitt Family Cemetery in War Cove.
Friends may call at the church Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 12 Noon.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
