Clyde Irvin Harrison, 68, of Snake Root Branch Hollow Road, Coalwood, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield.
Born June 4, 1951, in War, WV he was the son of the late Cora Jane Blevins Harrison and William Payton Harrison. He was coal miner and mechanic, a graduate of Big Creek High School and liked working on cars and trucks.
Clyde is survived by one son, Kenneth Harrison and companion Tammy Church of Coalwood; one daughter, Frances Harrison of Ohio; one sister, Frances Betty Rowan of Denver, CO; five grandchildren, Lori Church, Shawn Baker, Cheyenne Bolen, Ryan Hicks, MacKenzie Keene and Tiffany Nicole Paige Bowles; great grandchildren, Adilynn Baker, Daltyn Teeny, Izzabelle Arndt.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 22, 2019 at 12:00 noon from the Second Chance Ministries in Squire, with the Pastor J. Mark Collins, officiating. Burial will follow at the Harrison Cemetery in the Snake Root Hollow section of Coalwood.
Friends may call Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the church after 6:00 PM. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
