Danny Franklin “Danny Boy” Blackburn II, 38, of Welch passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at his residence. Born November 18, 1981 in Princeton, he was the son of Danny Franklin Blackburn of Premier and the late Linda Louise Pardue Blackburn. He attended Mount View High School and attended the Ark of Safety Church. He was a former employee of the Coalwood P.S.D and Welch Water Company.
In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by an infant brother, Anthony Victor Lee Blackburn; maternal grandparents, Lucille and Benjamin Pardue; paternal grandparents, Daisy and Nick Bohin and Thomas Blackburn.
In addition to his father he is survived by his daughter, Autumn Lyons of Caretta; one sister, Tina Danielle Blackburn of Welch; nieces and nephews, Anthony Blackburn, Brianna Andrigo, Drew Andrigo; a special nephew, Mason Andrigo; his little special pal, Gabe; and his best friend, his dog, Rufus.
A Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 12 Noon from the Ark of Safety Church in Roderfield with Reverends Danny Blackburn and Gene Ball and his uncle Tommy Blackburn, officiating.
The Douglas Mortuary in Welch is assisting the Blackburn family.
