Elijah walker, 33, of Panther, WV, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 in ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Elijah was born October 28, 1986, in Bluefield, WV, a son of Willie Walker and Angela Steele.  He loved being in the mountains, digging ginseng, hunting and fishing.

Elijah was preceded in death by his grandpa, Roger Steele and grandparents, Monroe and Goldie Walker.

Survivors include his father, Willie Walker and wife Stephanie of Iaeger; mother, Angie Steele and Howard Coleman of Panther; three brothers, Rico Adams and wife Kelli of Big Sandy, Billy Adams of Coalwood, and TJ Adams of Bull Creek; three sisters, Samantha Lowe and Jared of Iaeger, Taylor Walker and Laila Walker both of Iaeger; nieces and nephews, Nevaeh, Kyra, Addison, Norma, Hailey, Gabrielle, Adrian, Aubrey, Zach, and Carson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 12 noon with Reverend Roger Pete Woods and Reverend John Hunt officiating at the Panther Missionary Baptist Church in Panther.  Burial will follow in the Walker Family Cemetery on Short Pole near Panther, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. 

Friends may visit with the family Monday evening, November 11, 2019 after 6 p.m. at the Panther Missionary Baptist Church in Panther, WV.
