GARNET LETTY (ROSE) GULLETT

Garnet Letty (Rose) Gullett, 101, of Welch WV, passed away, Thursday, November 21, 2019, at Welch Community Hospital, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Born, November 2, 1918 in Briar Creek, WV, she was the daughter of the late Jeston and Viola Rose Walker. She was a loving wife for 55 years, and a selfless and doting mother to her ten children. She was of the Baptist faith and a lifelong member of the Asco Community Church. For the past eleven years she was a resident of the Golden Harvest Community living facility where she was loved and cherished by the staff and residents.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Samuel Gullett, son, Billy Eugene Gullett, daughter,  Carol Gene Hawkins, brothers Ray and Norman Rose, sisters, Janice Wingler, Eunice Thomas, Iris Green, and Hazel Lambert.

Survivors include, her daughters Ruby Short of Premier WV, Barbara England of Pageton, WV, Juanita Thomas of Silver lake, IN, sons Paul Gullett and wife Carol of Premier WV,  Ronnie Gullett and girlfriend Debbie Dillon of Welch WV, Doug and Chris Gullett of Gerrardstown, WV, Roger Gullett of Roann IN, David Gullettand wife Sandra of Davy, WV, brother, Calvin Rose of N.C., sister, Wilma Pack of Alexandria VA, thirty five Grandchildren, and a host of Great and Great Great Grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 11 A.M. from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch with Pastor Randall Dority officiating, burial will follow at New Community Cemetery in Asco WV. Friends and Family will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call Friday, November 22, 2019 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch WV.
