Patricia Pearl Abram, 79, of Boissevain, Virginia, departed this life on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from the Bluefield Regional Medical Center following a long illness.
She was a former custodian for the McDowell County Board of Education, and attended Boissevain Pentecostal Holiness Church. Before her illness Patricia along with her husband, Reverend James Abram, ministered to the patients at various area nursing homes, ministering and singing praises to the Lord.
Born December 28, 1939, Patricia was the loving daughter of the late Carl Ray and Zelphia Bailey Phillips.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Thomas Absure; a daughter, Cynthia Katrina Cline; a sister, Elizabeth Phillips and a brother, Luther Phillips.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, James “Jim” Abram of Boissevain, VA; a son, Johnny Ray Absure of Tazewell, VA; two daughters, Sherry Cline and Donna Lockhart and husband Larry of Panther, WV. Patricia is also survived by five grandsons, Bradley and Brandon Lockhart, Jason and Chad Cline and Christopher Absure; and two granddaughters, Carla Lester and Jordan Green. Also left to cherish her memory are her eleven great grandsons and three great granddaughters; two sister, Johnnie Lockhart Wolfe of Iaeger, WV and Tammy Lowrance of Pipestem, WV; brothers, David Phillips of Claremont, NC and Bill Phillips of Chapmansville, WV, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Services for Patricia P. Abram will be conducted on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 12:00 noon at the Roderfield Pentecostal Holiness Church in Roderfield with the Reverend Ronald W. Abram officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.
Burial will follow at the Iaeger Memorial Cemetery in Roderfield, WV.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren in honor of their grandmother Patricia P. Abram.
