Susan Smith

    Susan Smith 43, of Welch, WV passed away Friday, November 15, 2019.  

   Susan was born August 28, 1976 in Welch, WV, a daughter of Cloie Bell Vanover and the late Arthur Darrell Walker. Susan was a homemaker, loving mother, daughter, companion, sister, aunt, and friend.  If there was a survivor, it was her……  Susan will be missed by all.

    Survivors include one daughter, Santanna Marie Smith of Wytheville, VA; one son, Austin Corey Smith of Wytheville, VA; her mother, Cloie Goodson and husband Larry also of Wytheville, VA; her companion and the love of her life, Wilbert Lee Addair Jr. of Welch, WV; two sisters, Mary Laxton and husband Lewis of Jolo, WV, and Charlotte Browning and husband Chad of Bland, VA; one brother, Darrell (Peatom) Walker of Wytheville, VA; three nieces, Audreanna Walker, Courtney Walker and Alexis Laxton; two nephews, Jonathan Laxton and wife Tara, and Caegin Browning; great niece and great nephew, Kyndal Laxton, and Little Jonathan Laxton; special friends, Wilbert Lee Addair III and Alexandria Faith Addair; and a host of other family and friends.

     Friends may visit with the family at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, Saturday evening, November 23, 2019 from 6 to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted at 7 o’clock with Speaker Kimberly Dash officiating.     In horning the wishes of the deceased her body will be cremated following services.
