Terry Dean McCoy, 56, of Iaeger, WV, went to sleep October 29, 2019, where an angel of our Lord led him on home.

Terry was born September 16, 1963, the baby son of the late Oscar and Ruby McCoy.  He loved our Lord, reading the Bible and playing mandolin, banjo, guitar and singing.  He had worked in coal mining since his high school graduation and was a dedicated hard worker.

In addition to his parents Terry was preceded in death by his older siblings, Kennith and Donna McCoy.

Survivors include his beloved wife Juanita Bishop McCoy of the home; daughter Amanda McCollum and husband Michael of Raeland, NC; son Arthur Michael Bishop III of the home; two granddaughters, Lylah and Corah McCollum both of Raeford, NC; two sisters, his twin sister, Sherry Apostolico and husband Thomas of Chesapeake, VA and Wilma McCoy of Iaeger, WV; one brother, Andy Arthur McCoy and wife Trisha of Horse Creek, WV; a special loved one, Mama Ruth Barnett of Davy, WV; and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that he dearly loved and cherished.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 3, 2019 at 1 o’clock with Reverend Randall Dority officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV.  Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery on Coon Branch Mountain near Iaeger, WV.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearer will be Barry Clevenger. 

Friends may visit with the family Sunday morning, November 3, 2019 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger.
