Waldon Robin “Murdock” Parker, 62, of Iaeger, WV, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at his residence.
Robin was born January 20, 1957 in Newport News, VA a son of Walden “Walt” Parker and the late Janice Stacy Parker. He was a disabled coal truck driver and machine operator for US Steele. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
In addition to his mother, Janice Parker, Robin was preceded in death by his grandparents, four uncles, Eddie Stacy Sr, Bobby, John and Jimmy Parker and a cousin, who was more of a brother, Eddie Stacy Jr. (Bubby).
Survivors include his father, Walden “Walt” Parker of the home; one aunt, Lula (Ray) Rozelle of Rossville, GA; a host of cousins; two nonbiological siblings, Zane Thomason and James (Chicago Jim) Cline; and four special friends, Donna, Della, April, and Dollie.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 1 o’clock with Reverend Gary Walker officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV. Burial will follow in Iaeger Memorial Cemetery at Roderfield, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family Saturday morning, December 14, 2019 at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger from 11 a.m. until the time of services.
