Bluefield Cops Class AA BAC Crown

BECKLEY – The Bluefield Beavers placed six players in double figures Saturday afternoon in the Class AA finals of the Big Atlantic Classic at the Raleigh County Convention Center on the way to an 90-43 victory over Wyoming East to claim that title.
Seniors Braeden Crews, Jaheim House and Sean Martin scored 15 points apiece for the Beavers, followed by sophomore Jaylon Green’s 12, eleven by senior Tyrese Hairston and 10 by senior Kaulin Parris.
Bluefield, now 14-3, jumped out to a 22-5 advantage at the end of the opening chapter that stretched to 51-17 at intermission.
Sophomore Tanner Whitten was the Warriors’ top scorer with 18 points.
The Beavers will entertain Shady Spring Friday evening, while East, now 5-11, will host Liberty Raleigh tomorrow evening.
