Man Rousts River View 80-67


BRADSHAW – The Man Hillbillies improved their season slate to 12-2 Friday evening with an 80-67 win over River View.
The Hillbillies, who don’t have a single twelfth grader on their roster, led the Raiders 19-15 after the inaugural quarter before exploding for 30 second quarter points to take a 49-30 advantage at the break.
Sophomore Austin Ball took game scoring honors with 24 points for Man, followed by 15 each by junior Peyton Adams and sophomore Jackson Tackett. Jeremiah Harless, also a tenth grader, added 12 points.
Freddie Dawson, a senior, led the Raiders, now 10-5, with 17 points, while junior Chase Porter canned 16. Senior Kobe Halstead and sophomore Daniel Dobbs chipped in 13 apiece.
The View will visit Holston, VA this evening before traveling to Man tomorrow evening.
