Randy Ray McNeely Sr., 56, of Hensley passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 at Welch Community Hospital, Welch.
Born May 4, 1963 in Welch he was the son of the late Herman McNeely Sr. and Gladys Blankenship McNeely. He was a former Saw Mill wood trimmer, and he was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. He loved camping and fishing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Justice.
He is survived by his loving wife Alma Odom McNeely of the home; a son, Randy McNeely Jr. of Roderfield; two daughters, Angel Jeannette Short and husband Jerry of Hensley, and Emalee Chyanne Short and companion Terry Horn of Roderfield; three brothers, Herman McNeely Jr. and wife Brenda of Iaeger, Ralph McNeely and wife Brenda of Twin Branch, and Jeff McNeely and wife Melinda of Roderfield; five sisters, Barbara O’Connor of Hensley, Cathy Christian and husband Darrell of Pineville, Marie Ferrell of North Carolina, Drema Scarberry and husband Samuel of Marytown, and Phyllis Horn of Roderfield; 8 grandchildren, Kimberlee, Haylee and Jerry Short, Keith Roberts, Alex McNeely, Lexi McNeely, Zachary Mullins and Felicity McNeely; and two special great grandchildren, Noah Onzie Ray Horn and Titus Anthony Lee Horn.
In keeping with his wishes, he has been cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
