MARY ELIZABETH “LIBBY” WALDRON

On Thursday, February 6th, 2020 at the age of 67 Mary Elizabeth “Libby” Waldron of Welch, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family.
Libby was born in Welch on May 24th, 1952 to the late Ebbie and June Eanes. She is proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers Ebbie Eanes Jr. and Ricky Eanes, and her beloved fur baby Prissy.
On June 24th, 1969 she married the love of her life, George J Waldron. They made their home in Welch where they raised their family. She spent her life as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and daughter. Last year, Libby and George celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party held in Welch with a host of family and friends. She loved to throw parties for everyone they loved and looked forward to her 50th wedding anniversary party for years.

Libby’s personality was one to be remembered. She loved to joke with everyone around her; even though she often became the punchline of all the jokes because most of them went over her head. She could laugh for hours, whether she understood the joke or not.
