Ronald “Duke” Roger Hardy Jr., 50, of War, WV passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Welch Community Hospital.
Born July 9, 1969 in Richlands, VA, he was the son of Ronald Roger Hardy of Canebrake and the late Dorothy Jean Hilton Hardy. He attended Big Creek High School. He loved to fish and watch car races.
In addition to his father he is survived by one son, Bradley Hardy of War; two sisters, Theresa Hardy and Bea Shelton and husband Mark all of War; and his fiancée, Christina Stepp of War; one nephew, Zachary Shelton and wife Brittany of Bluefield, VA; and one niece, Danielle Hicks and husband Donny of Endwell, WV.
In keeping with his wishes the body has been cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
