River View Digs Huge First Quarter Hole Versus Mercer Christian

BRADSHAW – River View fell behind Mercer Christian 32-12 after one quarter Friday evening and almost dug out, but not quite.
The Cavaliers took an 80-77 decision over the Raiders, despite being outscored 65-39 over the final three periods that included a River View 44-25 advantage in the second half.
MCA set the nets ablaze from outside in the first half knocking down 10 treys of thirteen total for the game.
Sophomore Daniel Dobbs had a superlative double-double for the 10-8 Raiders with 22 points and 21 rebounds.
River View senior Kobe Halstead took game scoring honors with 26 points, while Freddie Dawson added 15.
Senior Erik Boothe paced the Cavs with 20 points, followed by 13 from sophomore Tanner Keathley and a dozen from senior Jamison Mullins.
The Raiders will host Mount View tomorrow evening at 7:30.
