Wayne Curtis Manuel, 76, of Branford, Fl formerly, of War Eagle, WV passed away on Tuesday February 18, 2020 at his home. He was born on June 22, 1943 in War Eagle, WV a son of the late George Roscoe and Vernie Smith Manuel. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two grandchildren Kevin Compton and Casey Birchfield; a daughter Wanda Stanley; a sister Delorice Cline; and two brothers John and Woodrow Manuel. Survivors include his children Delina (Ronald) Cline of Ballard, Linda (Ray) Bailey of Isaban, Dwayne Compton of Isaban, Anita (Danny) Birchfield of Isaban, Deborah Roberts of Logan, Mark “Mike” Manuel of Gary, Judy (Troy) Bailey of Panther and Holly (Benji) Rasnick of Panther; three sisters Clarice Walls, Tina Kuhn and Millie Goodman; two brothers Ralph Manuel and Frank Manuel; twenty-six grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday February 26th at the Isaban Church of God, Isaban, WV with Pastor Jeremy Compton officiating. He will be laid to rest in Bailey Family Cemetery, Long Pole, WV. Friends may gather with the family after 6 pm on Tuesday February 25th at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco.
