The Mount View Golden Knights claimed a 51-39 victory over the Montcalm Generals
Tuesday evening in the opening round of the Class A Region III Section 2 playoffs on Ergie
Smith Court at the Castle.
Led offensively by sophomores Justin Haggerty, Brendon Rotenberry and Tony Bailey,
the View will play second-seed Greenbrier West tomorrow evening at Charmco in the
tourney semifinals at 7 pm.
Haggerty and Rotenberry canned a dozen points apiece, while Bailey tossed in 10 for
the now 10-12 Knights.
Montcalm, 3-20, was led in scoring by senior Leon Lambert.
