It’s shaping up to be a beautiful day today in McDowell County. High 50’s today.
The Welch News has its mind on our 57th Annual Coal Edition which will print on March 27, 2020. This annual edition pays homage to local sacrifice made to further our great nation, as well as the state of the industry today.
As you can see by the excited smiles on these faces, when we reach final production we cannot keep the pride from showing on our faces!
After all these years we are still learn the most amazing things about McDowell County and our neighboring counties here in southern West Virginia.
