Wesley Ballard “Junior” Byrd Jr., 55, of the Welch-Pineville Road, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in Welch. Born January 7, 1965 in Welch, he was the son of Ann Byrd Dillon of Welch-Pineville Road and the late Wesley Ballard Byrd.
He enjoyed watching sports, Westminster Dog Shows, and he loved Country Music. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Byrd Ellis, Freida Stout and one brother, Larry Dillon.
Left to cherish his memories in addition to his mother, are four brothers, Rodney Byrd and wife Shelia of Welch-Pineville Road, J. C. Byrd and wife Ginnie Sue and Jason Byrd and wife Melanie all of Welch, and Scotty Byrd and wife Tressie of North Carolina; four sisters, Linda Blevins, Debbie Hodges and husband James all of Welch, Lois Lambert and husband Benny of Roderfield, Tootsie Ratliff and husband Lewis of Roanoke, VA, Anne Besudry of Connecticut; and many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held by the family at a later date.
