McDowell County Schools announced earlier that the 5-day Meal Kit distribution scheduled for tomorrow would be postponed until Wednesday.

The National Guard notified the district of a need to change the date of delivery for 2000 meal kits. The meals will now arrive on WEDNESDAY instead of Tuesday as previously announced.

The National Guard cannot confirm the exact time the meal kits will arrive in McDowell, but will call when they leave the distribution center.

At that time, MCS will send a School Messenger call to families to announce a pick up time for later in the afternoon/evening on Wednesday.

McDowell County Schools also confirmed they will be distributing meals during Spring Break.
