Tommy Addair, 61, of Mile Branch, WV left peacefully for his heavenly home on April 6, 2020, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters.
Tommy was born July 22, 1958, a son of Athelene Vanover Addair and the late Foster Ray Addair. He was a member of the Mt. Top Baptist Church and loved the Lord. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone he could. He loved hanging out at Newberry’s with the “Newberry’s Gang”. He will be missed by all who loved him.
Those left to share his memory are his loving wife of 40 years, Vickie J. Addair of the home; two loving daughters Stacie Rene (Matt) Mullins of Avondale WV, and Sarah Nicole (Bernie) Maynard of Princeton, WV; two grandchildren, Luke Peyton Mullins and Paisley Isabella Maynard and a precious one on the way. Additional grandchildren he loved as his own, Braxton, Chaise, and Skylynn Dameron, Bryson Drew and Sophie Garlic, Hannah and Addison Honosky. Additional children he loved as his own Summer (John) Garlic, Brooke Ratliff, Timmy and Crystal Branham, and Heather and Danny Honosky. He is also survived by his loving mother, Athelene Vanover Addair of Long Bottom; two brothers, Danny (Tara) Addair of Rural Retreat, VA and James Leonard Addair of Long Bottom, WV; one sister, Cheril (Donald) Matney of Mile Branch, WV; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, uncles, and aunts. Special friends he loved as brothers and sisters, Andrew Short, Loretta Lester, Dean Fuller, Lisa Mullins, and Chris Riffe whom he loved like a son.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, April 10, 2020 at 1pm with Pastor Ralph Steele officiating at the Andy Kennedy Cemetery at Horse Creek, WV. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
At this time the family, with broken hearts, wish to ask that everyone practice social distancing as we have friends and family who have compromised immune systems.
