Rema Kay King, 64 of Northfork, WV went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 18, 2020 at McDowell Nursing in Gary, WV. Born July 15, 1955 in Bluefield, WV she was the daughter of the late Thomas Henderson and Anna Louise Davis Henderson.
Rema was of the Protestant Faith. She enjoyed gardening and working in her greenhouse. She was an avid fan of oldies music, especially John Lennon. She was a kind hearted lady and always thoughtful of others. Rema loved her family and enjoyed spending time with and cooking for them. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
Other than her parents, Rema was preceded in death by brothers; Tommy Henderson, Garland Woods, Bobby Smith and Jake Henderson. One daughter, Mary Mitchem and former husband, Daniel Aguire.
Survivors include: her loving and devoted husband of 19 years, Paul R. King Sr. Daughter, Angela Hill and husband Chester. Sons Daniel J. Aguire II. Grandsons, Carl Richardson III and Thomas J Henderson. Stepchildren, Paul R King Jr. and Audrey Darnell. Step granddaughter Samantha Hutchens. Son-in-law David Mitchem. Also a host of extended family and friends.
A walk-through visitation to pay respects will be held Thursday, April 23, 2020 from 11: AM until 12: Noon only. (Social Distancing Enforced) Wearing of masks advised.
A private “Immediate Family” service will be held afterwards with Past or Raymond Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Route 52, Bluefield, WV.
Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
