FRANKIE E. CAMPBELL


Frankie E Campbell, 69 of Kimball, WV went to his Heavenly Home Saturday, Ap ril 25, 2020 at his residence with his family by his side after fighting a long battle with cancer. Born July 4, 19 50 in Big Four, WV he was the son of the late Douglas Campbell and Nellie Stephens Campbell.
Frankie was a Veteran of the U.S. Army where he proudly served for three years. He was a member of the American Legion, and work as a coal miner for over 34 years. He enjoyed the outdoors including h unting, fishing, camping, and was an avid bingo player.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents. One daughter, Reasinia Campbell and one brother, Ronald Campbell.
Survivors include; his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Burretta “Boo” Patric k Campbell of the home. One son, Bobby Campbell of Forum, VA. One sister, Cathy Mays and husband J im of Princeton, WV. Two grandchildren, A.J. and Michael Jones of Forum, VA. Frankie was also blessed with five great- grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
In honoring the wishes of Frankie E. Campbell, cremation occurred upon his pas sing. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Widener Funeral Home Chapel Northfork, WV.
A walk-through visitation will begin at 11;AM, (Social Distancing Enforced). Wearing of mask recommended. The Family will h ave a (Private Service) at 12: Noon with Pastor Angie Gillespie and Pastor Curtis Mitchel officiating. Inurnment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Bluefield, WV. Military Honors will be scheduled for a later date. Assisting the Campbell Family is Widener Funeral Home. Northfork, WV.
