CHRISTOPHER HARVEY ESTEP

Christopher Harvey Estep was born June 28, 1976 and passed away May 3, 2020 making his stay on earth 44 years, 10 months, and five days.  He was the son of Joann Thornsbury Estep and the late King Phillip Estep who preceded him in death April 21, 2020.

Christopher married Melissa Aralds May 4, 2011; she preceded him in death on February 2, 2019.  To their union was born a son, Phillip Thomas Estep who is a special gift from God to his entire family.  Christopher was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Harvey and Pearly Estep, maternal grandparents, Alex and Louise Thornsbury; and a special nephew, Jacob Harvey Hagerman.

Christopher is survived by his son, Thomas Estep of War; his mother, Joann Estep of Jolo; his mother-in-law, Ruby Aralds of War; a brother, Phillip Benjamin Estep and wife Angel Estep; a nephew, Joshua Estep and nieces Madeline and Lillian Estep all of Ravenswood, WV; and a sister, Teresa Louise Estep of Jolo. Additional survivors include aunts, Lois, Cathy and Genny Estep all of Jolo, Nell Payne of Florida and Lilly Miller of Tazewell, VA, and Brenda Wolford and husband Lee of Jolo; uncles, Ricky Estep and wife Nila of Jolo, and Gary Estep and wife Cathy also of Jolo; cousins, who were like brothers and sisters to him, Michelle Wolford of Jolo, Ginger Hagerman and husband Garson of Jolo, Mary Stacy and husband Michael of Jolo Jessica Anglin and husband Kevin of Jolo, Martha Estep of Jolo and Garry Matthew Estep and wife Holly of Jolo. Also surviving are, special nieces and nephews, James Hagerman, Angela and Matthew Stacy, and Charlotte and Catherine Estep and numerous special friends.  He was special to many and will be missed by all.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 1 o’clock with Elders of the Old Regular Baptist Faith officiating at the Dave Estep Cemetery on Estep Ridge near Jolo with burial to follow.    Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers donations toward funeral expenses would be appreciated.
