Raymond Allen Adams, 47, of Welch passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 at his residence. Born May 8, 1973 in Welch he was the son of Catherine Jean Mullins Adams and Tervinia Eddie Adams of Welch.

Raymond was a former pressman for the Welch Daily News, and he was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memories are two sons, Travis Adams and Dawson Adams both of Premier; one brother, Jason Wendell Adams of Welch and one sister, Virginia Louise Spencer of Charleston, WV.

A Memorial Service will be conducted Friday, June 5, 2020 at 1 PM from the Helping Hands Holiness Church in Hemphill. Following the wishes of the family the body has been cremated.

Editor’s Note: I had seen Ray throughout my life but I only got to know him once I came to The Welch News. Over the years we shared many stories, jokes and laughs. I will be missing that infectious laugh and smile, as well as hearing him sing. Thank you for all the great times Ray and much love from the entire Welch News team.
