WELCH, WV – Early voting concluded Saturday afternoon in McDowell County, with 217 early voters reported by the McDowell County Clerk’s Office.
Over 1,100 absentee ballots were requested, with approximately 750 returning to be counted for the Primary Election.
With early voting now over, the County Clerk’s Office has moved on to prepare for Election Day tomorrow.
Voting machines are now ready to be transported to the various polling places across McDowell County, accompanied by supply bags including hand sanitizer, gloves, masks, and more to ensure safety guidelines are followed, as seen in the photo provided by Crystal Greer.
Polls will open tomorrow, June 9th, 2020 at 6:30 a.m. and stay open until 7:30 p.m for Primary Election Day 2020.
