Suspicious Complaint Leads to Meth Arrest in Berwind

BERWIND, WV – On Tuesday, July 7th 2020, Deputies responded to a suspicious person complaint in Berwind, WV.

Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with a Donald Wade Steele. Upon investigating the complaint, Deputies found a quantity of Methamphetamine along with a large amount of cash and firearms.

Deputies arrested Donald Wade Steele and charged him with Possession with intent to deliver Methamphetamine, a schedule II controlled substance.

He was arraigned before Magistrate Steve Cox and a bond of $50,000 was set. He was remanded into the McDowell County Holding unit awaiting transport to the Southwestern regional jail.
