WILCOE, WV – The McDowell County Health Department is reporting that a resident who previously tested positive for COVID-19 has followed up with 2 negative test results within 10 days of their positive result and therefore, warranted removal from our positive COVID-19 case count.

Although this is excellent news, the Health Department wants to remind the public to remain vigilant and continue to practice social distancing, wear a face covering in public, avoid large crowds and wash your hands frequently.
