WARREN MICHAEL BARBOUR

Warren Michael Barbour, 58, of Avondale, WV, entered eternal rest on July 18, 2020 following a motorcycle accident.   

Warren was born in Texas May 20, 1962.  He served in the United States Army from 1980-1994 with several awards and received an honorable discharge.  Warren was a member of the McDowell County Ghostriders and served as their Road Captain. 

Warren was preceded in death by his father, Donald Barbour.

Survivors include his companion of 20 years, Gloria Addair of Avondale; his children whom he loved dearly; two daughters, Katelyn of Floyd, VA, and Michaela of Pennsylvanian ; one son, Chris of Oceana, WV; and Ranson Addair of Avondale whom he considered his son; five special grandchildren, Remington, Camden, Madelynn, Turner and Tinley whom he loved very much; his step mother, Margaret Barbour of Steeles; and  three brothers, Ronald (Porky), Darrell, and Shane.   

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 1 o’clock with Reverend Russell King, Reverend Kenny Green and Reverend Aaron Blankenship officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger.  Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery on Brushy Ridge in Paynesville, WV.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. 

Friends may visit with the family Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger from 11 a.m. until the time of service.  

Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, mask are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced.  Group size must be held to 25 people or less.
