Kenneth Gary Ward, formerly of Steeles, WV, passed away peacefully on Monday July 13, 2020 at 9:00 PM at the Westbury Rehabilitation Center in McDonough, GA, after suffering for many years with a variety of illnesses.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Ballard Ward; his mother, Edith Ward; and one brother, Jimmy Roger Ward.  He is survived by one sister, Charlene Lou Cuneio of Stockbridge, GA; one nephew, Scott Mullins; along with several cousins.  Kenneth had for several years lived with his sister in Stockbridge, but for the last year and half he had been a resident in Westbury.
“Ken” as he was known, faithfully attended The Way of the Cross Baptist Church with his sister and her husband.   His visitation and funeral will be held at the Church at 1640 Mt. Carmel Rd McDonough GA on July 21, 2020.  The visitation will be at 11 A. M. followed by the funeral service at 12 noon.  Officiating will be Pastor Steven Bell and Associate Pastor Josh Hale. Following those services, he will be transported to the Pads Fork Community Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery for the graveside services which will occur on Thursday July 23, 2020, at 12 noon.  Officiating at the graveside services will be Mr. Jeffery Ward.
