Gregory Douglas “Happy Days” Lambert, 56, of Premier, WV, departed this world on Saturday, July 25, 2020. Born June 11, 1964 he was the son of the late Howard James Lambert and Barbara Carol Vance Lambert.
He worked at Bluestone Coal Company and had worked as a truck driver for 37 years. Driving trucks was his passion. He was also a huge sports fan and loved the Miami Dolphins football team. He always had a smile on his face and knew exactly how to make someone laugh.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Brian Scott Lambert; his brother, Michael David Lambert; his sister, Melissa Lambert; brother-in-law, Benny Bowles and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
Left to cherish his memories are his sister, Tonya Allen; niece, Courtney Allen and special niece Leighton all of the home. His sister Anna Bowles and companion Charles Coffey (Little Buddy) of Premier; granddaughter, Sarah Lambert and his loving wife of 21 years, Tammy Reed of Princeton; special cousin, Joey Mullins of Princeton and many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 11 AM from the Ark of Safety Church in Roderfield with Reverend Danny Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow at the Iaeger Memorial Cemetery in Roderfield.
Friends may call at the church Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 6 to 9 PM. Services and Visitation will be held in accordance to Covid-19 Guidelines, mask are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced. Group size must be limited to 25 people or less.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
