WELCH, W.Va. – Earlier this month, the City of Gary announced that July’s Drug Free event would be a free community night swim at Linkous Park.

Scheduled for today, it has since been postponed to Thursday, August 27th, 2020.

“With the weather and the flooding, we thought it best to postpone to a later date,” said Gary Police Chief S.P. “Pat” McKinney.
