Pamela Darlene Gibson, 61, of Mohawk, WV, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at her residence.
Pamela was born in Welch, WV, July 18, 1959 a daughter of the late Halsey and Okie Cline Justice. She was a member of the Johnnycake Church of the Living God for 35 years.
In addition to her parents Pamela was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ayers and Bertha Justice and Julius and Amanda Cline; brother, Dean Justice; sister Faye Vernatter and husband Howard; an infant brother, Rodney Slone and a nephew Timothy Vernatter.
Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Jerry Gibson of the home; son, Derick Gobel of Mohawk, WV, granddaughter Layla Gobel of Long Pole, WV; step daughter, Hannah Day of Charleston, WV; step son, Jon Gibson of Gilbert, WV, step grandchildren, Ryder and Olivia Gibson and Jasper and Jaxton Day; brothers, Ronald and wife Ivy Slone of King, NC, Kenneth and wife Donna Slone of Bull Creek, WV, and Terry and wife Tammy Cline of Bull Creek; sister, Pauline and husband Tom Hisiro of Hurricane, WV; sister-in-law, Sara Hall of Hurley, VA; mother-in-law, Hazel Gibson of Hurley, VA, whom she loved and appreciated so much; a niece Julia Lockhart of Bull Creek, whom she loved as a daughter; and her little dog Hershey that she loved with all her heart.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 1 o’clock with Reverends Raymond and Drema Rowe officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV; singers will be Melissa Taylor and Shannon Lester. Burial will follow in the Vernatter Cemetery at Mohawk, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, Saturday morning, August 2, 2020 from 11 a.m. until the time of services.
Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, mask are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced. There can be no more than 25 people in the gathering.
