Ronell C. “Toot” Huff Jr., and sometimes affectionately known as “Big Country,” completed his earthly journey and entered into his eternal rest on Wednesday August 26, 2020 at CAMC General Division in Charleston WV. Ronell was born on March 16, 1977 at Doctors’ Memorial Hospital in Welch WV to Mr. Ronell C. Sr. and Mrs. Billie Jean (Davidson) Huff.
He spent most of his adult life in Anawalt, WV, until he moved to Charleston WV. In earlier years, he was baptized and joined the Anawalt First Baptist Church and was a 1995 graduate of Mt. View High School. He held a certification in HVAC.
Ronell was a happy, cheerful person who never met a stranger. Some people said he looked like and reminded them of the actor, Will Smith. He loved Little Debbie Swiss Roll cakes and his Aunt Nancy’s Vegetable Couscous dish.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Billie Jean Huff; his grandmothers, Lousinda Davidson and Priscilla (Judy) Huff and his grandfathers, J.C. Huff and John Levi Davidson II.
Ronell is survived by his father, Ronell C. Huff Sr, of Anawalt WV, his beloved and devoted sister, Yolanda Huff of Anawalt; his children: Olivia Huff of South Point, OH, Ronell Cornelius “Trey” Huff and Ryan Blake Huff both of Bluefield, VA; his favorite aunties: Candy, Nancy, and Gail Davidson all of Anawalt, WV, Mynetta (Leon) Hastings of Maybeury WV, Connie Williams and Pat (Jimmy) White both of Cedar Grove, TN, Norma Huff of Stone Mountain, GA, Velma (Kerford) Franklin of Perth Amboy, NJ, and Redia Leonard of Atlanta GA; uncle, Samuel Davidson of Nashville, NC; his nephew, Johnathan Huff and niecy poo-poo, Jennifer Flack both of Anawalt, WV; the mother of his sons, Jill Howell and special friend and sons’ grandmother, Sue Horn of Bluefield, VA; as well as a host of special friends and other relatives.
The Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 12:15 p.m., on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens Grave side (weather permitting,) with the Reverend James Green officiating. Interment will follow. Due to the (corona virus) a revolving Visitation from 11:00 am -12:00 pm., will be held in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens Mausolem Chapel, 6605 New Hope Road in Bluewell, WV. Friends and Family will serve as both pallbearers and flower bearers.
