DELMER MULLINS

Delmer Mullins, 85, of Paynesville, WV, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at his residence.

Delmer was born August 11, 1935, in Paynesville, WV, a son of the late Kelly and Francis Mullins. He was a veteran of the United States Army.  Delmer worked all of his life; working as a truck driver, factory worker, and a small business owner and at the end a farmer. 

In addition to his parents, Kelly and Frances Mullins, Delmer was preceded in death by one sister, Juanita Monteith and his father and mother-in-law, Willard and Ella Sexton.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Louise Mullins of the home; one son, Randy Mullins and wife Terri of North Myrtle Beach, SC; one grandson, Kelly Thomas (KT) Mullins of North Myrtle Beach, SC; one sister, Geraldine Keyser of Roanoke, VA; three brothers, Juan Mullins of Wytheville, VA, Cletus Mullins of Paynesville, WV and Clyde Mullins of Wytheville, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 12 noon with Evangelist Hobert Kennedy, Reverend Jerry Stacy and Elder Jack Horne officiating at the Bee Branch Primitive Baptist Church on Bradshaw Mountain near Paynesville, WV.  Burial will follow in the Payne Cemetery on Estep Ridge on the Mullins family farm near Paynesville, WV, where military graveside rites will be conducted by the VFW Post #1144.  Steve Mullins, David Mullins, Kyle Mullins, Herman Mullins, and Luther Stacy will serve as pallbearers. 

Friends may visit with the family Friday evening, September 11, 2020 after 6 p.m. at the Bradshaw Community Center in Bradshaw, WV.

Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, mask are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced.
