Middle school football started last night. Mount view middle went to sandy river middle and lost 8-6. The rain put a damper on everything and made everything slippery. The first half was a defensive battle with it being 0-0.

The opening kickoff of 2nd half had sandy river kicking to mv and mv player fumbled with sandy river recovering. Sandy river then drove with James Kennedy scoring and Chanton Davis made the 2 pt conversion. Then in the fourth quarter mv Omarri hill recovered a fumble and ran it back for a td and 2pt conversion failed. Mv stopped sandy river again and forced a turnover on downs. Mv had a chance to score and with 14 seconds left and in the red zone a mv player dropped a pass as the time ran out.
