Apollonia “Oma” Fuchs, 94, of Welch WV passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020, at her residence. Born October 15, 1925 in Kitzingen, Germany she was the daughter of the late Michael Kahl and Kunigunde Most.

Mom was trying very hard to make it to her 95th birthday. She has lived a full life and enjoyed her last years in the loving personal care of her two youngest daughters, JoAnne and Marylou. She spent her final hours surrounded by loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, her Daughter Gisela Peterson and three Grandchildren, several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by five of her six children, Roland and Barbara Fox, Hans Fuchs and Cathy Spencer, Dieter Fuchs, Joanne Fuchs, Mary Lou Sizemore and George Janice, and twelve of her fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated A celebration of life will be celebrated on her birthday with family and friends
