Betty Jane “Sissy” Clemons, 67 of Princeton, WV went to be the Lord
Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born March 07,
1953 she was the daughter of Virginia Elizabeth Hicks Rowe and the late
George Howard Rowe.
Betty was a faithful member of The House of Prayer in Bramwell, WV.
She was a loving and caring person to everyone. Therefore, she never met a
stranger. She loved her family immensely and her world revolved around her
grandchildren as she often expressed she loved them “To the moon and back”. She was so proud with the anticipation of being a grandmother for the eighth time. One of her favorite past times was sitting on the porch and watching the hummingbirds and butterflies.
Other than her father, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Clemons Sr. Brothers, Jimmy Rowe, Carter Rowe and two very special aunts, Eva and Gracie Rowe.
Survivors include: Her mother, Virginia Rowe of Princeton, WV. Daughter, Jennifer Rowe of the home. Two sons, Jackie Clemons and wife Allishia of Cheesy
Creek, WV. Eric Clemons and companion Shania Palmer of Narrows, VA. She was also blessed with seven grandchildren; Landon Clemons, Elianna Clemons, Eva Clemons, Eric Clemons Jr. Isabella Clemons, Lena Palmer, Naomi Palmer and a new one on the way which will be a total of eight. Brothers: Jerry and Rosie Rowe of Ingleside, Randall and Angie Rowe of Princeton, Ralph Rowe of Princeton, Joey and Teresa Rowe also of Princeton as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2020 at The House of Prayer Church in Bramwell, WV with Evangelist Donald Harding and Pastor Joey Rowe
officiating at 2: PM. Burial will follow at Coaldale Cemetery, Coaldale, WV. The family will receive visitors from 11: AM until the hour of service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Assisting the Clemons family is Widener Funeral Home. Northfork, WV.
