FAIRLEA – The Class AA Wyoming East Warriors were roughed up by the Class AAA host Greenbrier East Spartans Friday evening by the score of 56-0.
The Spartans scored 14 points in the first and third quarters and 28 in the second on the way to their second victory in three games.
Seven different Greenbrier East players scored at least one touchdown, with quarterback Monquelle Davis tallying two, both on runs of 16 yards.
Sophmore kicker Noah Dotson was perfect, knocking through all eight PAT attempts.
The Warriors dropped to 0-3 with the loss and will square off against Wyoming County rival Westside tomorrow evening at Clear Fork at 7 pm.
