COALWOOD, W.Va. – The community of Coalwood will have an Adopt-a-Highway cleanup on Saturday, September 26th, 2020 (weather permitting.)

If not this date, the cleanup will be Saturday, October 3, 2020. Volunteers are encouraged to bring ATVs and truck for the project.

Participants will meet at the Coalwood Methodist Church at 9:00 a.m. to assign location to be picked up along the highways. Garbage bags and gloves will be furnished. No household garbage, appliances, etc. will be picked up or disposed. The community of Coalwood is also encouraged to pick up around houses and yards.
