Darrell I. Fowler,71, of Newton, NC formally of Thorpe, WV departed his earthly life to be transformed to his heavenly home on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Carolina Rehabilitation.
Darrell, along with his twin brother Harold and five other siblings born to the union of Roy and Georgia Fowler, they have one surviving sibling, Goldie Hopkins, of Bluefield. Left to Cherish his memories his loving wife of 33 years Debra Fowler of the home, two sons Jason, of Charleston, WV and Darrick, of Newton. Lifelong best friends Ralph and Anita Hairston of Maybeury, WV.
Darrell worked as a coal miner for U.S. Steel in Gary WV No.2 and Southern Edge Mining Co during his employable years.
Darrell was an avid hunter and fisherman and all-around Sportsman. He was a loving, husband, father. grandfather, uncle and great friend that will be greatly missed by so many.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 11:0 0AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Friends may call prior to services on Friday, from 10:00-11:00 AM, at the funeral home.
