Billy Gene Blevins, 85, of Princeton, WV, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at his residence.

Billy was born May 21, 1935, in Panther, WV, a son of the late Sid and Pearl Browning Blevins.  He was a truck driver and loved playing music and singing at church.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by, five sisters, Geraldine Lively, Beula Lester, Shirley Goodman, Phyllis Ratliff, and Betty Allen, and one brother, Clayton Blevins.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Linda Blevins of the home; two daughters, Debbie Bailey and husband, Gary Jr. of Princeton, WV, and Teresa Blevins of Princeton, WV; two sons, William Blevins of the home and Sidney Blevins and wife Linda of Massachusetts; four grandchildren, Jodi Bailey and Jason Bailey both of Princeton, Krystal Whitney of Massachusetts and Brian Blevins of Princeton, WV; four great grandchildren, Landon Bailey, Kyleigh Bailey, Nora Whitney and Benny Whitney; one brother, Lloyd Blevins and Hollene Bryant of Cleveland, OH, one sister, Peggy Lester of Panther, WV, special friend Linda Matthews of Princeton, WV.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 1 o’clock with Reverend Ivy Sloan and Reverend Sandy Bryan officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Burial will follow in the Lester/Blevins/Ratliff Cemetery at Short Pole near Panther, WV.  family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family Sunday morning, September 27, 2020 from 12 noon until the time of services.

Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, mask are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced with no more than 25 people in attendance.
