WELCH, W.Va. – A new commercial enterprise for Welch and McDowell County will hold a media day and Opening Ceremony at 2:00 PM Thursday.

Welch Market is an open air market featuring local vendors and providing family oriented entertainment in the historic Welch Municipal Parking Building. Festival style games and contests will be featured along with a wide variety of merchandise.

The market opens for the public 8:00 a.m. Friday and is still accepting vendor applications. For more details contact WWW.welchmarket.net. The Market is set for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday each week.
