To quote the name of a famous Rod Stewart hit song, “Tonight’s The Night!”  This evening at 7:30 Mount View and Sherman will kickoff the long-awaited first high school football game at the new Vic Nystrom Stadium on the campus of Mount View High School.  The beautiful facility, the new home of the Golden Knights, will be showcased amid much excitement, but a limited number of fans due to covid-19 protocols.  Still, this evening will be a huge one in the ongoing history of Mount View High School and McDowell County.  (Photo by Gary Dove)
