Virgie Elizabeth Lester, 68, of Jolo, WV, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020, in Buchanan General Hospital in Grundy, VA.
Virgie was born April 4, 1952 in Jolo, WV, a daughter of Myrtle Underwood and the late Clyde Scott.  She was a homemaker and very devoted to her grandchildren and dogs.
In addition to her father, Virgie was preceded in death by one son, Michael Justice and her first husband, Lonzie Justice.
Survivors include her husband Robert Lester of the home; two sons, Shannon Justice and Shannon Michael Justice both of Lexington, NC; five grandchildren; one sister, Diane Roberts of Lexington, NC; one brother, Wayne Mullins of Oneida ,TN; two step brothers, Cecil Scott of Bramwell, WV, and Jack Scott of Paynesville, WV; and two step sisters, Yvonne and Judy Scott both of Virginia Beach, VA.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 5, 2020 at 11 o’clock with Reverend Charles Rose officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV.  Shannon Justice, Austin Justice, Dalton Justice, Jeff Justice, Arnold Roberts, Robert Allen Lester and Matthew McClanahan will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, Monday morning, October 5, 2020 from 9 a.m. until time of services.
Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, mask are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced with no more than 25 people in attendance.
