Kimball Holiday Patrols Deemed a Success

KIMBALL, W.Va. – According to Kimball Police Chief S.P. “Pat” McKinney, Kimball’s increased patrols through the Thanksgiving Holiday netted a fugitive and some minor drug arrests.

“We arrested one man wanted out of Mercer County and issued two simple possession tickets as well as one Driving Suspended. We also stopped a vehicle and found a man out of Mercer County on bond for selling drugs driving a man on bond for selling drugs in McDowell County,” said McKinney. “This type of information helps out ongoing efforts to identify the route drugs are traveling into the county and forward that info to the Drug Task Force.”

Officer Dalton Martin made a traffic stop and encountered Mark Anthony McGlothlin. After a computer check showed McGlothlin was wanted out of Mercer County for numerous charges he failed to appear on.

Kimball plans similar patrols during the Christmas week to increase safety levels in holiday traffic.
