Rosa Lee Belfiore, 90, passed quietly from this life into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Friday, December 18, 2020, at the Green Valley Nursing Facility following a long illness. Born September 5, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Felipi Pezzato and Maria Nicoli Pezzato.
Rosa was a former resident of Premier, WV and was a 1949 graduate of Welch High School. She later found her greatest joy in life, outside her family, in working with small children as a Kindergarten Aide at Iaeger Elementary until her retirement.
In addition to her parents, Rosa was preceded in death by her two sons; Daniel Belfiore and Patrick Belfiore. Five brothers: Batto Patsey, Frank Patsey, Nick Patsey, Raymo nd Patsey, and Roman Patsey. Three sisters: Josephine (Patsey) Belfiore, Edith (Patsey) Ross, and Lucy (Patsey) Watson. Stepfather, Frank Salvucci.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Ann Facello of St. Clairsville, OH . Jimmie Patsey of Coalwood, WV, two granddaughters, Angela Belfiore of Bluefie ld, WV, and Amy (Luke) Davis of Rhode Island. Great-granddaughter, Ashleigh Belfiore, Great-grandson, Brenden Belfiore, and daughter-in-law, Renae Belfiore all of Welch, WV. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, all of whom were special to her and she loved each of them very much.
Funeral Services will be held on December 28, 2020 in the Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum at 11: AM with Rev. Randall Dority officiating. Entombment will immediately follow. Friends may call from 10: AM until the hour of service. Due to the COVID Pandemic, visitation will be limited to (10) guest at a time. Social distancing enforced, face coverings required.
